I'm Waiting For You - With Refined Drums, Bass Line and Rhythm Guitar

Finally, I come to the point of satisfaction where the drums, bass line and the rhythm guitar have been refined. This is how they will sound in final version.



Now, after this I'll add distortion guitar. If not, how can I even call this song a pop ROCK. \m/

But perhaps before that a piano, electric piano and grand piano. That will sound good and make the song rich with sound and harmony.

After that, perhaps some strings ensemble. That will sound good too. Let's hope for an eargasm!

Then lastly, touch up the vocal. Yeah, need to add the back-up singer, harmony, soprano, alto, tenor (Maybe not!). My goal is eargasm!

I guess I just go on making the basic vocal track using this Vocaloid first.

Finally Satisfied With Sonika's Vocal

I think I can just let go and move on. But I can't. After hearing some tweaked vocal track from one of the member in Vocaloid Otaku, Shoukka I decide to do more experiments.

I've change the key chord to low, middle and finally I decide it sounded good at A# or Bb.

Here's how it sounded.



But to my surprise, when I exported it as .wav file, the sound match to A instead of A#. I guess that's bugs?

Sonika is a not an easy Vocaloid to use. ^^,"

This one took me 6 hours to achieve this, but it doesn't sound so realistic... just not yet... That's just proof my incompetency. I know, I just keep doing this until I have a good sound. Just like people says, practice makes perfect. (Oh, is that so?)

Finalised Melody For "Never Change"

This is the finalised version of the melody for our first song, Never Change.



The bass, guitar and the drums were rushed, well I haven't thought how I should arrange the mix yet. This is still "work in progress" remember?

On other notes, I've seen Megaupload have been taken down. This is bad. I openly oppose SOPA and PIPA act. Just to let you guys know my stance.

Hey, for you guys who have been following the progress so far. I'm sorry, I've been delaying the creative process because I play this visual novel game called "Katawa Shoujo". It have good storyline. Well, for those who have the same interest as mine, you should play this game. It's a free game.

Other news, I've asked for help from this girl at http://yukkarin.tumblr.com/ . She have a great talent. I really like her work. I asked her to draw the cover album for this single and I hope it will turn out good. But she said, she can only do it after 2 weeks since she have exams. Well, we're not that rushing here too. (We don't have the song finished yet! :P )

So tonight, I plan to find the bridge part of the song. I hope I got some inspiration!

It's just to show, your "anyhow" humming melody can actually turn into a real song. If you like Vocaloid, do cover is good... but come out with originals is even better.

Establishment of Sun of the Dawn!

It is today, 6^th January of 2012.

I establish the Sun of the Dawn with high hope and pure heart that we will bring lights to the darkness of the night. The first piece of ray, telling the darkness that the dawn are coming, which bring new hope and new light to the bright future lies on the day ahead.

That we will make all the noise that soothing to the ears. The strings. The drums. The beats. The people singing. The people dancing in the joy. Let us all celebrate.

That we will with all of our open heart, honestly to put all of our hope upon the morning winds that will blow the the other end of the world. To let other people hear the wind whispering our wishes. May the wind too, bring all those hope and wishes high up to the sky... that it reach the heaven... the creator of the world...
